I have never used it on a blog, but for instance, when you read scientific papers, sometimes you read paper that you can't understand ... without some background. And it's so frustrating. I think I'll definitely put a short sentence, or a system of tag on my blog to give the required level/field needed to read each post. Anyway, good luck for this blog.
