En informatique, que ce soit du coté théorique (computer science) ou pratique (computer engineering), la tradition de publications est actuellement grosso modo la suivante : on présente les résultats obtenus à un moment donné avec un article que l’on soumet à une conférence, après une phase de relecture par les pairs, l’article est refusé ou accepté. Si il est accepté, on le présente  à la conférence, et il est publié dans les actes de la conférence. Ces derniers temps on m’a beaucoup parlé de mots clés: billet de Marie, qui pointe vers un site qui n’explique pas grand chose sur la recherche des bons mots clés, amis qui sont en train de mettre en place une opération de référencement mais qui cherchent encore les bons mots clés, etc.
Dans la suite de ce billet, j’appelle client le client du référenceur, internaute le visiteur du site du client, et internaute-client l’internaute qui va rapporter quelque chose au client.
Je pense que plusieurs erreurs sont largement commises lors du processus de mise au point des mots clés :

Non, je vais aujourd’hui vous parler des habitants de l’amérique du nord (argh, j’ai dit que non) qui sont récemment émigrés sur place, et qui de surcroit ont l’honneur et la chance de servir la science (et c’est leur joie).
